Just spoke to Shawn at Midnight Motorcycle.
He stated that Avon Tires was sold over the winter and the reps dont know what’s going to happen with the product line. Avon tires are already short in supply. Shawn is suggesting that if you are fond of those tires and if you find them buy what they have. Apparently no one knows who the new owner is or what they intend to do.
On another note he said he is currently trying to get stored bikes ready to go. They are not doing any big repair jobs until May. Short jobs (oil changes, tires and the like) are his main focus right now to get as many riders on the road as possible.
He must have had 20 tires spoken for on the rack today.
Replacing the rear tire on mine today. But mine was a carry in. I am doing the work.
